Green Cup of Polo, Poolesville, MD

The Great Falls Vaulters performed between polo matches at the Green Cup of Polo on July 19th.  The Green Cup’s mission is to “raise awareness of environmental issues and benefit four prominent environmental organizations: ACORE (American Council On Renewable Energy), EPIC (Equestrian Partners in Conservation), Live Green, and EarthEcho International."  Vaulting on Pete and Goldie, the team demonstrated an exciting combination of compulsory, freestyle, and pairs moves before an appreciative audience.  The team concluded the demonstration with mirror image routines as Pete and Goldie cantered on the same circle with our longeurs back-to-back.  After the demo, the team spent time answering questions and allowing families the opportunity to meet and take pictures with two of our wonderful horses.
